Who covers your area, and what a flight there involves

Most coverage pages are a list of place names with a promise of speed attached. This one is not, because a response time promise from a one person operation is a promise about a diary nobody has seen yet. What you get instead is the drive from Exeter described as it actually is, and what a survey in that particular place tends to involve.

The grouping is the pilot's own. A flight in a packed city street is a different job from a flight on an open moor, and neither has much in common with a quayside in August. Salt corrodes fixings. Estuary wind arrives in gusts rather than steadily. Granite hills eat radio signal and the weather on them changes inside twenty minutes. Summer footfall on a harbour turns a straightforward survey into a question about where people will be standing.

If your town is not on the list, it is still worth asking. Twenty five pages is a sample of the coverage rather than the limit of it, and jobs get flown across Devon, Somerset, Dorset and east Cornwall from the same base.
